In 2018, my commitment to advocating for the rights of rental property owners led to my election to the board of the California State Rental Housing Association (CALrha), the esteemed California state affiliate for NAA. During my tenure on the CALrha board, I played a pivotal role in the campaign opposing Proposition 10, which sought to repeal Costa-Hawkins and legalize rent control on all rental properties. My influence extends beyond the state level, as in 2019, I earned the trust of my peers to represent California as one of the ten voting delegates on the national level for NAA. In this role, I actively champion rental owner rights, contributing not only to the national discourse but also perpetuating my advocacy at local and state levels. In 2023, I achieved a significant milestone in my professional journey by being elected President of the California Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (CALNARPM). In this influential role, I have assumed a pivotal position in shaping legislative efforts that directly impact property managers throughout the state of California. My responsibilities extend beyond advocacy, as I actively engage in fostering an environment that facilitates the education and professional development of property managers, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles.Additionally, I orchestrated a large-scale national educational conference in my hometown of Napa, a testament to my commitment to providing industry professionals with valuable learning opportunities. This event not only showcased my organizational prowess but also brought together experts and practitioners to exchange insights and knowledge on the latest trends and best practices in property management. In addition to my involvement with NAA, I am a proud member of both the California and National Associations of Realtors, as well as the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Recognizing the importance of staying abreast of industry developments, I am a fervent supporter of continuous education, regularly attending seminars and conferences to expand my knowledge and expertise.Beyond my professional endeavors, I devote my free time to the pursuit of excellence on the golf course. As a seasoned professional in property management, my multifaceted engagement in industry organizations and legislative advocacy underscores my unwavering commitment to the advancement of rental owner rights and the continual enhancement of my skills.
